What do you enjoy most about training?

Pushing myself to be better & learning off faster runners. Also the sense of achievement when you improve improve even by small margins.

What do you find most challenging about training?

Most challenging is facing into training after a hard day’s work. But will mostly feel better after it.

What is your preferred training location?

Fermoy & local routes plus hills.

Do you have any pre-race rituals?

Chafe cream (very important) jellies & making sure my socks are picked out the night before

What will you eat the morning before the race?

Scrambled eggs and/or granola with coffee

Any tips for others entering a 10 Mile race for the first time?

This was my 1st 10mile event last year. Enjoy the route, lovely scenery on way. Stick to your gameplan, smile makes it a bit easier!
