The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler is a 10 mile road race in Cork City attracting a growing number of participants each summer. The event has firmly secured its place as a favourite in the running calendar year.

The race didn’t go ahead in 2020 due to COVID-19 safety measures with the overall health and well-being of all runners, supporters and volunteers being paramount.

We look forward to putting on a great event in the Summer of 2021.

The race route takes participants around Cork’s most visited amenity areas: The Marina walkway following the river Lee, The Blackrock Loop and The Old Railway Line.

St. Finbarr’s AC are delighted to be host club and welcome all joggers & runners to take part in the event.

The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler, an Athletics Ireland registered event, has a flat and fast course which proves popular with fun and elite runners alike.

The 2020 John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler was due to be part of the Kia Race Series, seven road races around the country, with a guaranteed prize pot of €10,000 on offer.

St. Finbarr’s AC would like to thank all participants, volunteers, partners and sponsors throughout the years.
